First Baptist Church is committed to youth and children. We believe that our young people have unique gifts and vital perspective to offer the Lord and His Church. We love our youth. We pray for them. We gladly assume responsibility to help them grow and mature into great champions for the Lord Jesus Christ. Our Preschool and Children's Ministry is called KINDLE. We are working with these precious ones to see that they kindle a passion for Jesus Christ during their earliest days. We are so blessed to have Sister Lisa Koning as our Youth Director. Lisa, a native of Kalamazoo, Michigan is a true servant of the Lord. We praise the Lord for what He is doing through her ministry in our church and our community.
We offer the following opportunities for our youth:
High School - Monday at 4:30 pm
Middle School - Tuesday at 3:00 pm
We offer Acteens (teenage girls) Girls in Action (elementary girls), Royal Ambassadors (elementary boys), and Mission Friends (Pre-K) at 6:00 pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month.
