About Us
Inez First Baptist Church is located in the heart of Appalachia in Martin County, Kentucky. Our congregation has a rich heritage and history. The church was established in 1903, and has faithfully proclaimed the Gospel of Christ now for over 100 years. In 1993, the church organized the Tomahawk Baptist Mission. The Tomahawk Baptist Church was constituted in March of 2001. Today it is also a growing and vibrant work for Christ. We praise the Lord for His great blessing upon our congregation. We are excited about future opportunities for ministry in the coming days! We are a conservative, evangelical congregation affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Kentucky Baptist Convention and Enterprise Association of Baptists. We believe, preach and teach whole Bible. Our purpose is to glorify Christ, evangelize the lost and disciple believers. We welcome you to grow in Christ with us!
